About the press

Silver Bow Publishing is an independent literary press based in Western Canada, founded in 2010 with the aim of publishing emerging and established poets, fiction writers, and creative non-fiction authors. The press takes its name from the Silver Bow River, a tributary of the Columbia, and its ethos is rooted in a regional commitment to literary craft and community. Silver Bow has built a reputation for carefully curated, handsomely designed books that often explore themes of place, memory, and the natural world. Its catalogue includes works by both debut and mid-career authors, with a particular interest in voices from the Pacific Northwest and Canadian Prairies.
