Art House Holland by PAC is an artist residence located in Leiderdorp, in a rural atmosphere, just a short trip away from the big cities like Leiden, The Hague, Rotterdam and Amsterdam. They offer the artist-in-residence programs for five artists, providing private spaces for self-directed residencies, with time, support and room for creativity. The beneficiaries of the artistic residency can belong to any discipline and nationality - directed to culture professionals (commissaries, curator, artists, etc) with no age limit, who want to develop a creative or investigation project. The applicants must have a previous artistic background or qualifications which certifies them in the art or cultural field.
NY20+ China wants to open the dialogue among different countries in the field of sculpture and installation art. Free, diverse and open public art. Artists are invited to create and exhibit in a space of 67000 m2 in the open air of the park in NY20 + Art Center. The residence has a duration of one month, artists can choose the month during 2020-2021 (after the coronavirus) which suits her/him for the residence, The residence offers the possibility for artists to initiate and finalize a project by benefiting from the support of the NY20 + art center, promotion for works and artists. NY20 + will pay for accommodation and 3 meals in the art center during the residency as well as expenses for creation, artworks' materials, Round-trip plane tickets to the art center will be the responsibility of the artists. Open call for the whole year 2020-2021, residency duration:around a month per artist Festival will be held in January 2021 to exhibit the artists' arworks.
Art in Motion is a group of contemporary dancers that choreograph for exhibition openings and events and carry out various special projects such as workshops and residencies. The retreat exists to allow artists time to work without distractions. Located in a rural area, and there is no public interaction unless artists request working with the local community. ( rules prohibiting anyone from interrupting artists in the space unless they wish to work with the community. If artists wish to connect with the local or wider community contacts this can sometimes be facilitated and local schools are always interested in visiting tutors at different times of year.
Art> <Junction encourages collaboration, reflection, and connection with the land, people, and fellow residents. They host short- and long-term residencies, and also support community workshops, presentations, and open studios for those who wish to share their process. Applications are accepted on ongoing basis, artists will be selected subject to motivation, work sample and availability. Residencies are available year-round and range from 2 to 8 weeks. They provide eco-cottage accommodation, studio or open-air workspaces, two vegetarian meals daily, and opportunities for community engagement, collaboration, and cultural exchange. Artnoise 2020 Open Residency is a year long program designed for Creatives who work in the digital space interested in exploring African arts and take steps in developing their careers and artistic development. This program made of 3-week stays in Lome, London, Accra and Lagos provides time and space for digital creatives such as digital illustrators and painters, video game artists, Youtube content creators and other digital arts professionals to create, research, experiment, cultivate new directions in their work as well as execute new projects. In addition to a shared studio space and living facilities, artists are invited to immerse themselves in the local creative community, art exhibitions and festivals, visit galleries and have the opportunity to learn from their peers in the hosting city. The 3-Week stay in London, UK starts 1st of June 2020 and ends on 21st June 2020,

The Residency will take place between 7st September 2019 and 28th September 2019. The participants should commit to stay from 1 to 3 weeks. From 7 to 15 we will be working in Mariupol, after that we will relocate to Kramatorsk. Disciplines Supported: The Residency is open for arts professionals from a wide range of disciplines, including but not limited to fine art, photography; video, multimedia and performance art. Accommodation: Participants live in hostel or in a shared house. Workspace/technical information: The Program founders/curators work together with participants and can provide support to the participants. Fees and costs: The program covers accommodation and shared open studio spaces costs for the duration of the Residency, some materials will be provided. Art quarter budapest is an independent cultural institution set in the former Haggenmacher Brewery in Hungary. As an art center aqb contains ateliers, studios, a gallery and community spaces. Around fifty Hungarian visual artists and creative enterprises found their constant base in the reconstructed industrial building complex. In their main non-profit gallery space, aqb Project Space they organize contemporary art exhibitions and art education programs collaborating with curators and other international institutions. Aqb also hosts other types of cultural programs like concerts, performances, readings, film screenings, workshops and gastronomical events. Since 2013 aqb runs an international artist-in-residency program, offers accommodation, a private studio and a pop-up solo show. Aqb became a cultural melting pot of an international creative community with a wide variety of artists from the music, applied arts, dance and visual art scenes.
Art Site of Railway Warehouse, Hinchu City, was formerly known as Warehouse No. 3, No. 4, and No. 5 of Taiwan Railway Company in Hsinchu Station. It was built in 1941 during the Japanese Occupation and was registered as a historical building in 2015. The wooden roof built by using the traditional jointing method has been completely preserved. The original truck platform has been converted into a platform for viewing trains. Each year the Art Site offers six positions for artist-in-residency program. In addition, Art Site also holds exhibitions, art and cultural events very often. In order to bring about new points of view to art for the citizens and tourists in Hsinchu city, Art Site provides a studio for artists who pursue and create different kinds of arts. Artists in all fields are welcomed to apply for the six months or one year program which allows them to use the studio for creating and displaying their artworks, and for other related activities. raum AU is a physical and mental entity that as a potential public institution presents an appropriate addition to any urban environment – to coordinate the cities non-governmental production and to support active citizenship. Within the Arte Utile residency we try to activate the cultural heritage of Arte Utile by offering it to be discussed, researched, analysed and debated. Young theoreticians and artists are welcome to enter the artists archives. The AU residency can be a simple residency, where young artists can experiment their own AU arguments, but can be extended to a proper study of an artists opus and with that materials, that usually are left open, undone and never executed. Young, curious and open artists of every corner of the world are welcome to study the ideas of Arte Utile and to work in our social environment, a tiny city next to the Austrian border.

ArteSumapaz is a rural artist residency in the Andes mountains of Colombia offering time, space, and studios for artists working across disciplines. ArteSumapaz is located on Hacienda Australia, on 181 fanegadas (116 hectares, or 288 acres). The property is located in the municipality of San Bernardo, Cundinamarca, about three hours outside of Bogotá. In recent years, the property had been used as a cow farm, although historically the farm was part of a larger coffee plantation. All around the property you can still encounter the remains of former buildings that housed the workers, a school, and other remains of what was formerly here. Extensive trails lead to waterfalls, an ancient indigenous petroglyph, and a wealth of natural settings.

Hi, we are Grisel Antelo and Elena Molina, founders of the Arthaus Residency. We established it as a creative hub in Havana, back in 2016, to support artistic innovation and cultural exchange. Over the past eight years, Arthaus Residency has proudly hosted more than 50 artists working in fine arts, theater, filmmaking, music, writing, journalism, new media and more. Our residents have engaged in creative projects, collaborations, and cultural exchanges, contributing to the vibrant artistic community that defines Arthaus. Their diverse practices and contributions have shaped the residency into a dynamic hub for artistic innovation and dialogue in Havana.
Articule has open and thematic calls for submissions inviting local, national and international artists, groups of artists and curators to submit exhibition proposals. Articule is particularly interested in challenging projects in all mediums, especially those which integrate a socio-political consciousness. The Council of Bergen and USF Verftet offers a residency to professional foreign artist in all fields. Through the Artist in Residence program they wish to encourage and strengthen interaction and contact between local, national and foreign artists. The residency takes place at USF Verftet, an old sardine factory transformed to a large and diverse contemporary culture house situated in the center of Bergen. The offer consist of a 3-month-long residency at USF Verftet in a rent free studio and additional accommodation. However, all other expenses such as living costs, travel, materials, insurance and transport costs must be covered by the artist him/herself, or through funds in the artists home country.
