Basharat Ali Syed

Basharat Ali Syed (born 1996, Kashmir) is a New York-based artist working across installation, video, drawing, sculpture, and printmaking. His practice uses 3D-printed objects, machine outputs, and imaging technologies to examine borders, displacement, post-colonial identity, and mysticism. He was the Season II, 2024 International Residency Full Fellow at NARS Foundation in Brooklyn, and he is an MFA candidate at Hunter College.
