Passages North is a literary journal affiliated with Northern Michigan University, founded in 1979. The journal is open to submissions of poetry, short-shorts, nonfiction, and hybrid work from September 1 until April 15. Fiction reading periods are shorter, from September 1 until October 15 and January 1 until February 15.
