Goyki 3 Art Inkubator is an interdisciplinary working space and meeting point for international and local creatives. They host disciplines such as literature, visual arts, science, music and film, among other fields, and encourage cross-disciplinary exchange. The programs are focused on process, not on producing certain outcomes. The residencies under the AiR Goyki 3 programme will be dedicated to a wide group of artists – creators of visual art, writers, performance artists and individuals involved in the popularisation of science from Poland and abroad – and they will consist in supporting the activities of residents in the space of Art Inkubator. AiR Goyki 3 is interested in creative process and dialogue with artists, driven by critical reflection on the modern world and society. Goyki does not specify what end results should be; they do not impose topics. They support well-thought-out activities and research-focused projects referring to the place of their implementation, i.e., the city of Sopot and the space of Art Inkubator, as well as those focused on building relationships between people and their surroundings. By inviting residents from various fields, they hope to promote networking and cooperation which will result in multidisciplinary projects. AiR Goyki 3 offers: a) access to an atelier in the building used by Art Inkubator; b) curatorial support during residencies; c) opportunities for networking with the local art scene, arranging meetings and visits to institutions relevant to residents’ profiles; d) accommodation for two residents in Sopot during the April-June residency period; the location will be determined by Art Inkubator; e) covering project implementation costs up to the amount of PLN 8,000 gross per resident in the case of the September - November residencies. Past residents Ada Rączka, Simone Karl - visual arts 2021 Katya Shadkovska, Jagoda Dobecka - visual arts 2022 Zyta Rudzka, Paola Pilnik - literature 2021 Małgorzata Smolak, Yi-Yan Lee - literature 2022
The Cal State Fullerton Grand Central Art Center artist-in-residence program is an ongoing project. Each year the university invites three artists from around the world to live and work at the art center for a period of one week to four months. The length of stay and specific projects the artist works on are negotiated with each artist. City Artist-in-Residence Program (CAIR) is an artist-led organization that works locally and relationally to develop creative strategies for increased community connection, civic pride, and equitable participation in rural places. The organization believes in the power of rural creativity in activating solutions to address community challenges. Collaboration with local artists, residents, and community champions on deeply place-based projects is crucial for the organization to keep the core values at the heart. The City of Granite Falls and the Department of Public Transformation have launched the Granite Falls City Artist in Residence (CAIR) program - the first of its kind in a small-sized town in the country - fostering cultural work that sits at the intersection of civic, social, and place-based practice in a rural setting. The program is currently accepting applications from interested local, regional, and national artists to be embedded in the City of Granite Falls (pop. 2,897) for 6-12 months to design and implement arts and cultural strategies to increase civic participation and community engagement in City policy-making, planning and public processes. Program and application details are available online . Applications are due by April 26th at 11:59pm CST.

The mission of Graylag Nature Preserve is to connect people and communities to nature by protecting forested lands and watersheds, preserving open space, and offering educational programs and residencies. At Graylag, individuals, families, and groups can immerse in the natural world, discovering deeper connections with nature, themselves, and one another. Visitors can come for a week, several days, or a few hours. They can take a break from technology and learn from the natural world that surrounds us. Graylag Nature Preserve Inc. was established in 2019 as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. The Graylag Artist Residency is a dynamic program designed to foster the intersection of creativity and nature. Located in the scenic Graylag Nature Preserve in rural New England, this residency offers artists an immersive environment where creativity can thrive in direct connection with the natural world. Through this residency, the organizers seek to cultivate a vibrant exchange of ideas between visiting artists and the local community. By providing artists with time and space to create, reflect, and collaborate, they offer a rare opportunity for artistic growth and community engagement. This residency is more than a retreat—it is a catalyst for knowledge sharing, collaboration, and inspiration. The organizers believe that creativity flourishes in relationship with the land, and they invite artists to explore how nature informs their work while also contributing to the community through shared experiences. Whether through workshops, talks, or new ways of engaging with the environment, artists will play a vital role in strengthening the ties between art, nature, and conservation. 2025 marks the launch of the Graylag Artist Residency. As this is the inaugural year, they are looking for artists who are not only excited to immerse themselves in their work but also open to the opportunity to help shape the foundation of this program.
